“Russia has decided to limit unilaterally almost by 50% the ETMK permits valid on Russian territory. Such permits provide for Lithuanian companies the opportunity to carry freight without restrictions to Russia from third countries. We will negotiate with Russia and will request that for the compensation of the loss Lithuanian carriers should get more bilateral and trilateral permits for work in Russia”, said Rolandas Bražinskas, Adviser to the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania, during his meeting with Russian Transport Vice-Minister Nikolaj Lemov.
The negotiation group meeting will be presumably held in Lithuania.
