“We are making efforts to alleviate the burden of fees and charges for business and people. Being aware of factual expenses in delivery of concrete services we suggest to reduce the State taxes in transport sector”, said Minister Masiulis.
If the Ministry of Finance and the Government will support these proposals, licences for transportation of passengers and luggage and goods by rail will be less costly. Also less costly will be services related to the training of safety experts for transportation of dangerous goods. These services are provided by the State Railway Inspectorate under the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
