We would like to remind that from the 10th of November in Lithuania it is mandatory to drive with winter tires.
Driving on country roads with summer tires is prohibited from November the 10th to April the 1st. The use of spiked tires is allowed from the 1st of November. Vehicles using these tires must be marked with appropriate informational signs.
The Ministry of Transport urges drivers and other road users to be particularly careful and attentive when it’s dark because during the first ten months 240 road users in Lithuania has been killed.
